Cuba Gooding Jr. Cast As O.J. Simpson

Cuba Gooding Jr. will play America’s favorite Heisman Winner turned suspected murderer. Gooding has been cast as O.J. Simpson in the first of FX’s new anthology series, “American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson”. Emmy nominees Sarah Paulson from “American Horror Story” will play prosecutor Marcia Clark.

“American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson” is the first installment of the new “American Crime Series” on FX, which will focus on a different true crime story each season. One that made headlines and captured the public’s attention. The story of O.J. and the little glove that didn’t fit is told from the perspective of the lawyers involved and captures the behind-the-courtroom dealings that happened during the trial of the 20th century. Production begins early next year in Los Angeles.

The new FX anthology series “American Crime Story” is from “Glee” creator Ryan Murphy. Hopefully that means some courtroom song and dance numbers.
