The fine folks over at 538 state that grand juries usually don’t indict when a police officer is involved and even more so if it happens on Staten Island. Why? Because of the amount of police officers who live there and that are part of the community. If the Garner incident went down in any other borough, things could have turned down differently. Now only if 538 could call football games.
