Chris Rock Ripped Off Ice Cube!?

Yep, Chris Rock lifted a premise off Ice Cube– at least if you were to believe Chris Rock. In an interview with the New York Times, Chris talked about how one his more famous bits, “Black People vs. Niggas” from his 1996 special, “Bring The Pain”, is “basically stolen” from Ice Cube’s “Us”. He said he was inspired by Cube’s ability in that song to diss black people to other black people. He calls it an amazing record.
Chris Rock’s brand new comedy “Top Five” opens this Friday, December 5th nationwide.
Hope this “Top Five” movie lives up to the hype because Rock has done a great job walking this one up.
