Gilbert Gottfried to Compete on the Next Apprentice
NBC announced today on the TODAY show that The Celebrity Apprentice will be back for an all new season, and Gilbert Gottfried will be heading to the boardroom. With Gilbert’s history of getting in trouble with sponsors, and Celebrity Apprentice’s cross-promotional components, it should be interesting seeing how this plays out. Hopefully Gilbert will take on the role of mascot every week, and cause havoc.
Joining Gottfried this season will be Kate Gosselin, Terrell Owens, Vivica A Fox, Geraldo Rivera, Brandi Glanville, Jamie Anderson, Ian Ziering, Leeza Gibbons, Kevin Jonas, Shawn Johnson, Kenya Moore, Keshia Knight Pulliam, and Deadliest Catch star Sig Hansen.
“This season of ‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ is on point to be the best yet,” said Mr. Trump. “With 16 extraordinary contestants bringing their energy to the boardroom, it is sure to be a hit, as always.”
Previous “The Celebrity Apprentice” winners return as advisors, including Joan Rivers, who taped two of this upcoming season before she passed away this summer.
The new season will premier Sunday January 4th with a two hour episode from 9pm to 11pm and the rest of the episodes will air Mondays at 8pm.
