Neil Patrick Harris Is Your Next Oscars Host
NPH is going from Broadway to L.A. with his awards show hosting duties. Variety announced that Neil Patrick Harris will host the Oscars on Sunday, February 22, 2015 on ABC. Harris has already hosted the Tony Awards 4 times and the Primetime Emmys twice.
And Harris does have film cred as well. He’s currently in theaters appearing in “Gone Girl” starring Ben Affleck and was seen this past Summer in “A Million Ways To Die In The West”. It’s been a big week for Neil Patrick Harris. He has a movie out, his book “Neil Patrick Harris: Choose Your Own Autobiography” was just released and then the Oscars called. And everyone thought it was impressive when he was a kid doctor.
The 2015 Oscar nominees will be announced on Thursday, January 15th and the live awards ceremony will be February 22nd.
