Zach Galifianakis Talks About Birdman
Last night on the Tonight Show Zach Galifianakis told Jimmy how he handles stupid questions on the red carpet. He’s out promoting the movie Birdman, which stars Michael Keaton as a actor who was in three movies, called Birdman, but fell off the radar when the didn’t want to do Birdman 4. He attempts to make a comeback as a serious actor and fights the stereotypes and difficulties of coming back from a mega hit.
Zach explains that they shot the movie in under 30 days and yet, Zach promises, its four times better than any movie he’s ever seen. There are long scenes, with extended tracking shots– which are tricky to pull off (Bonus:He also got Jimmy to tell us why he doesn’t do movies anymore.) — and its a very layered, emotional, complicated film.
Birdman opens this Friday.
