In a move that will surely heal all the ill will between the NFL and their female fan base, the NFL is in the process of hammering out a deal with pop star Katy Perry to perform at halftime of Super Bowl XLIX.
Though there were initial reports of the NFL wanting artists to pay to have the privilege of performing at halftime, Perry stated on a recent interview on ESPN’s College GameDay that she’s “not the kind of girl who would pay to play the Super Bowl”.
