Somehow David Letterman had no idea that most of Jim Gaffigan’s material is about food. so he asked Jim, where does that come from. The simple answer is that Gaffigan likes to eat but he doesn’t like emotion. But he also doesn’t like seafood- Fish smell, and they never smile. He calls lobster “insects” and clams and oysters? Snot in a rock. Don’t bother inviting Jim Gaffigan to your fish party. He has his own take on that whole Jesus and fish thing.
