“Full House” May Be Returning To Television

John Stamos is in talks with Warner Bros and “Full House” original executive producer Bob Boyett and series creator Jeff Franklin to do a new updated version of the sitcom.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, most of the original cast from the late 80s – 90s sitcom are on board to do the new show, including comedians Bob Saget and Dave Coulier in some capacity. Also, the actresses that played the kids, Candace Cameron, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber are in. There hasn’t been any confirmation though on if the Olsen Twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley, who both played youngest daughter Michelle Tanner would be returning. Maybe they could have Michelle Tanner return as a billionaire fashion designer who had herself cloned and is looking to buy and sell the rest of her family.

Saget, Stamos and Coulier have reunited recently for an appearance on the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon and for a Super Bowl yogurt commercial. “Full House” still airs in reruns on Nick at Nite. Another former ABC Friday night show was also recently relaunched when “Boy Meets World” returned with most of its cast for the sequel series, “Girl Meets World”. So much for the new Golden Age of Television.
