Alan Freed’s Ashes Are Out Of The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame
The cremated remains of Alan Freed, the Cleveland DJ who first introduced the term “Rock and Roll” are no longer on display at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The hall said they were returning Freed’s urn to his family because they didn’t want his exhibit to be about his ashes. Freed’s remains will be interred at Lake View Cemetery in Cleveland. Now if only we could get Casey Kasem in the ground.
