Martin Lawrence Announces Plans For “Bad Boys 3”

Martin Lawrence told Conan O’Brien that a third “Bad Boys” movie is in the works.

When asked if there was a possibility of another “Bad Boys” film happening, Lawrence said “it’s real”. He added that he’s been in touch with producer Jerry Bruckheimer and that a script for the sequel is currently being written. Lawrence along with Will Smith, will be reprising their roles of detectives Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowrey who are cops in the Miami PD narcotics division. The original action comedy “Bad Boys” was released in 1995 followed by the sequel “Bad Boys II” in 2003.

Lawrence added that there might also be a part for Conan in the new “Bad Boys”, playing a crooked cop hooked on crack. However it’s doubtful that Conan passed his audition. Martin Lawrence didn’t give any indication about when “Bad Boys III” would be ready for release.
