Here are two guys working on the initial removal of the West antenna on top of the Hancock Building in Chicago. They are working nearly 1,500 feet in the air.
That’s the problem with giant antennas on top of skyscrapers. Eventually they have to be removed without dropping anything on the good people of Chicago. One of the scarier parts is the actual conversation where it sounds like these guys are still trying to figure out the best way to come down. It is good to see they can smoke on the job. After all, who’s going to come up there and make them put it out!?
