James Corden Rumored To Replace Craig Ferguson On The Late Late Show
According to The Wrap, which claims to have a source with inside knowledge, James Corden will be replacing Craig Ferguson at the host of CBS’ Late Late Show.
Corden is an English actor and comedian who co-created, co-wrote and starred in the British series “Gavin & Stacy”. The American version of the series, “Us & Them” was scheduled to air on FOX, but was cancelled before the first episode was ever seen. He also co-wrote and co-created the comedy mini-series “The Wrong Mans” which aired in the U.S. on Hulu.
James Corden’s American film career includes recently co-starring with Keira Knightley in “Begin Again” and he’ll appear in the Disney film “Into The Woods” being released this December.
Reps for Corden and CBS both were not commenting on the possible change in the network’s late night lineup.
Craig Ferguson says he plans on ending his run as Late Late Show host at the end of the year.
