Did The Life Aquatic Not Get the Love it Deserved!?
AV Club takes a look back at Steve Zissou and declares something we’ve always known– the critics who didn’t like The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou got it wrong. “It’s arguably Anderson’s most mature film,” says AV Club’s Mike D’Angelo “and in many ways now seems like a dry run for this year’s terrific Grand Budapest Hotel.” The AV Club writer isn’t yet ready to show love for Darjeeling Limited, another Wes Anderson film that the critics didn’t embrace, but that’s okay, there’s still time.
