Scott Adsit Joins Cast of Adult Swim’s “The Heart, She Holler”
Production of Season Three of Adult Swim’s live action comedy series, The Heart, She Holler is underway. And with production taking place as you’re reading this, comes the announcement that Scott Adsit, who you know as Peter, the executive producer of TGS with Tracy Morgan on 30 Rock, will be joining the cast and taking over the role of “Sheriff.”
Adsit will joins Patton Oswalt, Heather Lawless and Amy Sedaris to head up the series. You’ll also be seeing a familiar and incredibly talented list of guests in Season 3, like David Cross, Steve Little, and Jon Glaser.
If you’ve been watching the series, that’s all you need to know. If you’re unfamiliar, it’s not an easy ride to explain other than to say it’s a real original, full of familiar incredibly talented faces. Billed as “A HOLLERCAUST of yucks” and “MORE offensive to white people! MORE confusing to smart people!, The Heart, She Holler digs deep into the brain folds of our daymares and revels in the truth that will be known as THE COMENING!”
“We are thrilled to be hyped that we are amped about how much we are pumped that the unreasonably funny and talented Scott Adsit will be replacing the irreplaceable Joe Sikora on season three of The Heart, She Holler in the titular role of ‘Sheriff’,” said writers and directors John Lee and Vernon Chatman.
