Indie Band Scams Spotify For $20,000

Indie rock band Vulfpeck was tired of Spotify’s measly $0.007 royalties for every song that is streamed so they uploaded a silent album called ‘Sleepify’ and ordered their fans to stream it on repeat while they slept, netting them $20,000. This is probably the sort of thing the Sex Pistols would have done if they weren’t getting into fights and shooting heroin.
