Monty Python To Perform For The Last Time Together
Michael Palin announced the British comedy legends will perform together for the last time this summer. The legendary troupe will bow out after a slate of ten shows in London, featuring the surviving members of Palin, John Cleese, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, and Terry Gilliam. Due to individual commitments, the Pythons weren’t able to launch an international tour, as Palin explained:
“There’s terrific international interest in Python, particularly in America. So I think they’ll be a little bit miffed that we’re not going over there. But they get everything. Too bad. They’ll have to come here.”
Palin did say plans are for the performances to be recorded and released to cinemas.
