Who is Nathan Fielder!? He’s the Thinking Man’s Prankster

If you hadn’t heard of Nathan Fielder before today, chances are you have by now. Fielder, a Canadian comedian, has been revealed to be the mastermind behind ‘Dumb Starbucks‘, the strange LA coffee shop that had national news buzzing. He’s the host of Comedy Central’s Nathan For You, a docu-reality series that has Fielder help struggling businesses using marketing ploys that Madison avenue wouldn’t try in a million years.

Fielder got his start on the Canadian comedy series This Hour Has 22 Minutes (think of it as a cross between The Onion and The Daily Show) where he worked as a field correspondent. Here are some of the highlights from his work in the field.

After writing for Comedy Central Shows like Important Things With Demetri Martin and Jon Benjamin Has a Van, Fielder was given his own show, Nathan For You. The show gained viral success after they staged a fake video of a pig rescuing a goat in order to boost popularity of a local California petting zoo.
