$80M Baseballer Facing 5 Years For $5k Insurance Fraud

Ted Lilly made $80M pitching for six different teams in a 15-year career. That’s enough to purchase an RV worth over $210,000. But he’s now facing up to five years for insurance fraud, over a matter of $4,600. That’s the estimate he got after he backed his RV into something, which would be fine. Except he then went out and bought Progressive Insurance, and claimed the accident occured afterward. He got busted because the original estimate was in the body shop’s database.
The lesson here? Don’t fuck with Flo: she’s not afraid to cut someone down.
