7 Outstanding Comics Performing Benefit Show in NYC For Girls in Underserved Communities

An incredible lineup of comedians are coming Westside Comedy Club to help raise money for an outstanding cause.

Come see Gina Brillon, Gianmarco Soresi, Jackie Fabulous, Vlad Caamano and Judy Gold and hosts Holie Harper and Dara Jermott performing to benefit Stand Up! Girls. It’s a really terrific cause- the nonprofit helps educate, and inspire girls from underserved communities to learn comedy skills which not only will help give them a chance to compete in male-dominated workplaces, but also provides much needed communication skills. These girls learn how to own the room, which not only gives them opportunities in the field of comedy, but any career- be it a courtroom, operating room or boardroom.

“Stand Up! Girls is excited to partner with Ladies of Comedy on a benefit show with some of the best comedians in NYC. The proceeds will help us bring more free after school comedy to even more schools! All of our students learn to find their voices through stand up comedy and we are excited to give this opportunity to more girls in underserved communities,” said Stand Up! Girls executive director Nancy Tepper.

The show is set for Monday May 15 at 7:30pm at Westside Comedy Club. Tickets are $25 available at WestSideComedyClub.com. There is also a $40 VIP ticket available.

Come see Jackie Fabulous (America’s Got Talent), Gianmarco Soresi (The Late Late Show with James Corden), Gina Brillon (America’s Got Talent), Vlaad Camaano (NBC) and Judy Gold (Emmy Award Winner) along with comedians and Stand Up! Girls Instructors Dara Jemmott and Hollie Harper.

The Ladies of Comedy Association (LOCA) is co-producing the event. (LOCA) is a national networking organization dedicated to advancing the careers of women in comedy.
