John Lennon’s Hair Goes For 12k At Auction

Well, then you can be the owner of what’s being called the “largest lock of Lennon’s hair” to ever hit auction. Lennon had to get a haircut for the 1966 movie ‘How I Won the War’. At the time, the Beatles were just reaching the height of their fame and his hairdresser snagged a lock of Lennon’s hair as a keepsake. The Heritage Auctions is now offering the item, which has a high bid of $12,000. Meanwhile Paul McCartney is still selling hair to buy back songs from Michael Jackson’s estate.
