A 1987 interview with Lou Reed has been uncovered in which he says that he never liked The Beatles and that he thought they were garbage. Reed expounded on his distaste for the band and compared them to stupid Rock n’ Roll bands like The Doors when they attempted to get ‘arty’. Just when The Doors think they’re finally safe, they get hit with a classic Sweet Lou backdoor slam.
