Each year Footlocker runs a “Week of Greatness” when they sell  dozens of brand new sneaker models from the biggest brands. They also always run a bunch of commercials featuring top athletes and celebrities, and the ads have always been funny.  This year they’re bringing funny to the forefront, hiring comedian Tracy Morgan to promote the sneaker super week.

Morgan appears in two ads, one where he explains all the things he has with the Week of Greatness– like they’re both back this year, they’re both great this year, and neither of them owe $300 to a fish dealer. Morgan is back in the swing of things after his 2014 injuries.   In the second ad, Tracy gets nervous that he’s being replaced.

Morgan said in a statement “I had a great time working with Foot Locker and was grateful to work with my wife and daughter in one of the spots,” said Morgan. “It means a lot to me to be able to team up with Foot Locker on their ‘Week of Greatness.’ I’m happy to do this for my fans and hope to make them laugh during one of the biggest weeks of the year!”
