T.J. Miller Shout Out From the Back Row At the Oscars #OscarDisruptions
T.J. Miller was very excited about going to the Academy Awards last night for his role in Big 6, up for best animated feature.
You may have noticed what seemed like disruption from above during the acceptance speech for best animated feature by the guys from ‘Big Hero 6’. Well it wasn’t a disruption. Turns out it was a very excited T.J. Miller, in the very last row of the theater (who knew you could actually be sitting with a wall behind you somewhere at the Oscars?). Not only did the guys on stage give him a shout out and a big wave, but he got a cut- away shot with the camera attempting to capture the moment but he was too far away for even the Oscar cameras to clearly pick up what was happening.
But you can see the moment from his angle in full glorious phone camera quality, because he was sending out his own vines, tweets and instagrams from his perspective leading up to and during the win.
T.J. was having a ball in the Bob Uecker section, giving us one of our favorite moments of the night.
