Stephen Colbert and Steve Carell are reuniting to raise money for the Montclair Film Festival in New Jersey. A Conversation With Stephen Colbert and Steve Carell happens Friday, November 21st at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark. This will the festival’s 4th year working with Stephen Colbert for its annual event.

This obviously won’t be the first time Stephen and Steve have been on stage together. The two were correspondents together on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart where they would face off in their “Even Stevphen” debates. Before that, they were part of the Second City improv troupe in Chicago, where Stephen Colbert was Steve Carell’s understudy.

Festival Executive Director Tom Hall talked about having two big names in comedy helping out his cause – “We are deeply honored by Stephen Colbert’s continued support of the Montclair Film Festival and by Steve Carell’s generosity in joining us for this event. The opportunity to see these two great performers reunite onstage promises to be unforgettable.”

The Montclair Film Festival hopes to educate and showcase filmmakers from around the region.

A Conversation With Stephen Colbert and Steve Carell is on Friday, November 21st at 8 pm. Tickets go on sales Friday, October 4th. For more in formation and tickets, go to MontclairFilmFest.org.
