Reality or Fake TV? Can You Spot the Faux Show?

With the amount of TV channels out in the entertainment world, there are bound to be some clunkers. Crazy shows are put on the air all the time before they’re quickly cancelled and ushered out for something of equal or lesser entertainment value. This has been the case since the medium of television was invented, but can you spot the  shows that really aired on television from a the fake pitches that never aired? It’s the Faux Show Game Show!

Naked Jungle: An obstacle course in the jungle sounds hard enough. Now try doing it…completely naked. 10 nudists (and one host in his birthday suit) attempt to scale a series of challenges trying to collect different statues, all while in the buff.  Was this a real tv show?  or is this a faux show?

Wheels of Justice: Christian Slater stars as Ray Phelps, a prosecutor shot and paralyzed by a disgruntled client who must transfer back into his role as a lawyer while in a wheelchair. Toni Collette plays his former lover and rival at the firm who struggles at challenging Ray and looking out for herself at the same time. Was this a real tv show?  or is this a faux show?

Titan Strike: Dylan McDermott stars as Trice Munro,an FBI detective who is wakes up on a future alien planet in this spin off of ‘Life On Mars’. Now he must solve crimes in an alien world that he doesn’t understand while at the same time, trying to get back to the present day. Featuring the voice talents of Kelsey Grammer, David Hyde Pierce, and Kim Chan.  Was this a real tv show?  or is this a faux show?

Supertrain: A nuclear-powered bullet train built like a cruise ship travels from Los Angeles to New York with stops along the way in this ‘Love Boat’ spin-off. A rotating cast joined stars Edward Andrews and Nita Talbot as they explored elaborate sets and their interesting social lives.  Was this a real tv show?  or is this a faux show?

Heil Honey I’m Home!: The show centers on fictionalized versions of Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun, who live next door to a Jewish couple, Arny and Rosa Goldenstein. The show’s plot is centered on Hitler’s inability to get along with his neighbors.  Was this a real tv show?  or is this a faux show?

I’m In Love With My Stepdad: This reality show explores the relationships between five couple around the United Sates that are made up of step-dads and their step-daughters. The relationships are explored as well as the social stigma and family backlash they receive. A spinoff, ‘I’m In Love With My Stepmom’, was planned but never aired.  Was this a real tv show?  or is this a faux show?

Viva Laughlin: What do you get when you take ‘Cop Rock’ and mix it with ‘Glee’? Viva Laughlin. Lloyd Owen stars as Ripley Holden, a businessman who invests all of his money into opening a casino in Laughlin, Nevada. Shady deals, murder, and modern musical numbers led this comedy-drama with cameos by Hugh Jackman and Melanie Griffith.  Was this a real tv show?  or is this a faux show?
