This weekend is the Kentucky Derby and Bodemeister, a 3 year old colt has been named the favorite at 4- 1 odds. Bodemeister is followed by Union Rags at 9 – 2 and Gemologist at 6 -1. There’s a 40% chance of rain for this year’s Derby, so this one could be run in the slop. There’s a full field of 20 horses this year and Derby promoters are doing their best to insure the safety of the horses this year. The former producers of HBO’s Luck have been banned from the track.
