Danny DeVito Intros Bernie Sanders as Obi-Wan Kenobi
A Saint Louis crowd went crazy as Danny DeVito kicked an apple box closer to a podium so he could get a little height. DeVito was in St. Louis to introduce Bernie sanders to a crowd of supporters at a get-out-the-vote rally before this Tuesday’s primaries in four states including Missouri.
After promising Bern backstage to get the crowd excited and sharing a quick embrace, DeVito addressed the crowd telling them, “I love you guys, I love you guys. . .I love you because you’re here for….Bernieeee.” He told the crowd he “feels the Bern” for a man who has truth and knowledge, and shouted “We need you Obi Wan!!!” before bringing out Sanders himself.
