Coming Soon: A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night
Vice is breaking into feature films and after the brutal reality of their first film, Fishing with Nets, they are going in a very different direction; Iranian set (American filmed) feminist vampire movie. America Sheila Vand (Argo) plays the weird, lonely vampire who stalks the bad men of bad city in a full chador, while Arash Marandi, plays an Iranian James Dean leading his dead-end life with his drug addict father and no money. A bizarre, sometimes brutal love story also utilizes western, horror, and neo-noir genre conventions with real flair by writer/director Ana Lilly Amirpour.
Stars Sheila Vand, Arash Marandi, Mozhan Marno, Dominic Rains. Out Novermber 21st, 2014
