I know I am going to catch a TON of shit for posting this and I know I poked fun at the Bill Cosby rape allegations by creating memes but I really need to speak up about this:

If you take a close look at these women none of them really made it anywhere. Do you know how many dicks are sucked in America by female comics on a daily basis just to gain a 10 minute spot in a shitty club?

All of the women who have come forward to claim they were drugged and raped by Bill Cosby have waited decades to finally speak. I understand the severity of rape and the embarrassment it may cause a woman which causes her to refrain from going to authorities but if you take a close look at the list of the accusers, Janice Dickinson (who was new to the industry and the time of the alleged rape) as well as other women who also, at the time, were trying to make it in the industry you will start to think: Could it be that Bill Cosby used his celebrity status in a day when drugs and drinking were the total norm in the industry to “hook up” with these women? Could it be that these women saw Bill Cosby as an “in” to making it further in their careers? Janice Dickinson admits to have been a huge drug abuser, especially when she was at her prime as the world’s first super model. Here you have a high profile celebrity (at the height of his career) who everyone adored, free drugs and booze (which was used by most back then) and a hope that being in Cosby’s presence, or at least sleeping with him, would boost your career. Add all of that together and then have nothing happen with your career and what do you do? These women did nothing but now all of a sudden one comes forward and another 15 follow. Why? If you take a close look at these women none of them really made it anywhere. Do you know how many dicks are sucked in America by female comics on a daily basis just to gain a 10 minute spot in a shitty club? If I ever came to the point where I felt I couldn’t make it in the industry based solely on my talent and decided to sleep with a booker or club owner or celebrity with hopes that it would boost my career I’d rather just quit the industry and serve fries at McDonald’s. Obviously the women involved got nothing fame wise but now they can at the least try and cash in with these rape allegations.

Until someone can provide solid, hard proof that these incidents were actual rape cases and not women voluntarily taking drugs and alcohol and then becoming sloppy and regretting it in their adulthood years I have to feel sorry for this man. Bill Cosby’s ‘Himself’ was the first taped comedy special I ever saw when I was 7 years old. I also had the cassette tape which I listened to almost every single day while walking to school until I was 10. He was what started my love for comedy….and it was CLEAN comedy!

If he did indeed rape these women and full evidence is provided then my apologies but until then, remember: It’s extremely easy to point fingers and follow everyone’s lead but this man’s career is going down the tubes with every passing second. These weren’t children, they were women looking to make it in the industry and the times then were WAY different than the way they are now. Oh and to all my comic peers, bookers and club owners, I guarantee you if Bill Cosby contacted you either asking to appear at your club or have you open for him you would jump on that wagon, no questions asked.

And here is ONE more thing to think about……I know a few older women who own comedy clubs. You don’t think they had sex with male comics in exchange for stage time???? No rape being called there! Think about that.

Okay, let the horrible comments towards how I feel begin.
