Will Jay Larson and Rory Scovel Have the Next Hit Show at NerdMelt?

The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail started out as a small local show in the back of a comic book shop and became a huge hit bringing national attention to one of Los Angeles’ favorite alt comedy rooms. Now Jonah Ray, Kumail Nanjiani, NerdMelt and The Meltdown are known to and loved by comedy fans worldwide.

Now there’s a new show hoping to double down on The Meltdown’s success and it comes from two comedians who we adore. It’s called Rabbit Hole with Jay and Rory, and will be hosted by comedians Jay Larson (The Late Late Show, Conan) and Rory Scovel (Those Who Can’t, Ground Floor). Rabbit Hole will take place at Meltdown Comics’ NerdMelt Showroom, and they’ll take over The Meltdown’s coveted Wednesday night time slot.

Rabbit Hole with Jay and Rory will take place every Wednesday night starting on November 30th at 8:30 pm. The inaugural show features a solid lineup that induces Todd Glass, Baron Vaughn, Kate Berlant, Joe Mande, Bridey Elliott and a few surprise guests. Scovel is perhaps best known for his role in the truTV original Those Who Can’t. He recently starred in the features The House alongside Amy Poehler and Will Ferrell, The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter along with Danny McBride and Josh Brolin, and in Demetri Martin’s directorial debut Dean. He’s also made numerous appearances on Comedy Central, Conan and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Larson is best known as one half of the podcast The CrabFeast alongside Ryan Sickler, and has also made various appearances on late night shows like Conan and The Late Late Show. He also co-hosted Esquire’s Best Bars in America with Sean Patton, he’s had his own Comedy Central half-hour and has appeared on Ari Shaffir’s This Is Not Happening.
