Who Wore It Best: SNL Edition

Every Saturday night we see our political figures and presidents’ portrayed by the cast members of SNL. By comparing two SNL castmembers who portrayed a political figure, This list will decide once and for all who wore that persons clothes better.

Political Figure #2: Hillary Clinton

Cast members and Hosts combined, 9 different women have put on the infamous pantsuit. Although Ana Gasteyer did an amazing job during her tenure the battle for the best has to go to Amy Poehler and Kate McKinnon.

Amy Poehler. Poehler has played Hillary seventeen times from December 13, 2003 to February 18, 2012. This was one of Poehlers most popular impressions on the show and she even got to do it with Hillary Clinton herself. Even when Poehler went on to have her own show Parks and Rec her character was obsessed with Clinton and drew inspiration from her.

Kate McKinnon. The current embodiment of Hillary on SNL, Kate McKinnon has become the favorite of new generation cast members. Thanks to her impressions of Ellen DeGeneres and Justin Bieber she is a household name and still kills it in the random non-impression sketches too. Her best one may be how well she has been able to channel Hillary during the cartoon of a presidential election.
