Who is On Late Night Tonight in Comedy: Week of April 1, 2019

Who’s on Late Night Tonight in Comedy?

We’ve got bad news. Unfortunately, all the late night television shows on all the networks have been cancelled. (pause) April Fools’!!!

All the shows are here with plenty of comedy this week!

To kick off this week’s highlights, is headed home and bringing his late night talk show with him. All this week, Jimmy Kimmel Live will be coming from Jimmy’s hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada. JKL will be using Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood as a home base this week. The original plan was for Jimmy to do his show from the brand new stand up venue, Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club, which is coming soon to Vegas, Baby! A disappointed Kimmel said he had hoped that his new club would have been ready for its grand opening in time to host JKL this week, but said, “That was the plan. We just didn’t quite get it ready in time.”

All this week, we can expect plenty of showgirls, late night show gambling and magic show illusions involving Kimmel’s sidekick Guillermo either getting cut in half or disappearing all together. We can also look forward to fantastic comedy guests this week while Jimmy Kimmel Live is broadcasting from Las Vegas including Tiffany Haddish on Tuesday night. Tiffany’s career is red hot right now and on Tuesday, she’ll be promoting the season 2 premiere of the “The Last O.G.” starring on TBS. Tiffany returns as Shay-Shay with Tracy for another season with debuts on Tuesday, April 2nd at 10:30pm on TBS. On Wednesday night, JKL welcomes , which is great because Kevin and Jimmy have both hosted the Oscars and can compare….oh wait. Never mind. Then on Thursday, Kimmel’s guest is Seth Rogen who will be promoting his new rom-com, “Long Shot” which opens nationwide on Friday, May 3rd.

O’Brien is in reruns again this week. Man, this guy has a great work schedule at TBS. Team Coco will be airing “Best Of” episodes of Conan featuring some of his favorite comedy guests including Nick Kroll on Tuesday and Nikki Glaser on Wednesday.

Other highlights this week include comedy legend on Late Night with on Monday night. It’s going to look odd seeing Steve Martin on a late night talk show by himself and without his comedy partner Martin Short. Of course, you can always see them together on Netflix, where their special “Steve Martin and Martin Short: An Evening You Will Forget for the Rest of Your Life” is still available for streaming. Also on Monday, Tracy Morgan is on the Tonight Show reuniting with his old SNL cast mate to promote the new season of “The Last O.G.” which we mentioned earlier.

Jumping to the weekend, on Friday, Chelsea Handler is back in late night, but for one night only when her and her strong and funny opinions will be a guest on Real Time with Bill Maher on HBO. Then on Saturday, good news for my little Thronees, SNL continues with new shows this weekend with host Kit Harington, Jon Snow himself from “Game of Thrones“. Tits & Dragons is back for its 8th and final season. New episodes of “GoT” premiere Sunday, April 14th at 9pm on HBO. Finally on Sunday, if you enjoy watching your favorite comedians being thrown out of a wrestling ring, ‘s Michael Che and Colin Jost will be at the WWE’s WrestleMania 35 as participants in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal as they look to avoid the wrestler looking for them known as the Monster Among Men, Braun Strowman. Anyone who doesn’t like all Trump jokes on Weekend Update, you may finally get their revenge on Sunday!

Enjoy all your late night shows and remember, sleep is for the weak!
