His name is Gary Johnson. Never heard of him? You’re not alone. Most people don’t know that he was the Governor of New Mexico (for eight years) who cut taxes 14 times and still left the state with a $1 BILLION budget surplus. Most people don’t know that he started his own construction company and grew it into the largest construction company in New Mexico. They don’t know that he climbed Mount Everest and competed in Ironman Triathlons. And, most people don’t know that he admittedly used medical marijuana to recover from a devastating paragliding accident.
Now that you know who he is, you should probably know that he is running for President as a Libertarian. He plans to submit a balanced budget in 2013 by cutting government spending by 43%. He wants to legalize marijuana and pardon non-violent drug offenders. He plans to bring our troops home IMMEDIATELY. He opposes NDAA and the Patriot Act. He wants to ABOLISH the IRS! He opposes government intrusion into the internet, and wants to legalize online gambling. He supports the Second Amendment 100%
