Have you ever stopped to think if someone across the other side of the world might have the same 10 favourite songs as you? What if it could be your dream match, or new best mate?

mDNA connects you with people around the world who share the same tastes in music. You can follow your favourite artists, learn about what influences them, as well as connect and communicate with other users straight from your mDNA strand. It’s a bit like the Instagram of music but instead of using pictures it uses music to connect people.
So how does mDNA work?
mDNA allows you to add 10 tracks (only) to your strand that you love from any music platform online or straight from your library of music. mDNA records every track used in every strand, and when a track is used multiple times in different strands it begins to activate and change colour, allowing users to visibly see tracks trending in real time. By putting power back into the hands of the fans of music, we are able to boost the exposure of independent, emerging or recognised artists and show in real time the top trending tracks governed by the people.
But this is when YOU come into play — we need your help in order to do that. We hope to raise $60,000 so we can begin the development process, start creating wireframes detailing the movement and animation of the mDNA strand and ultimately designing mDNA to look and feel as striking and engaging for users as possible.
