In a study published in the journal “Child Development”, researchers found that kids who tried to act cool and were popular in school had a higher risk of participating in drug and alcohol abuse as an adult, as well as being involved in crime. Sure, you may be a drunk and have a couple of felonies on your record, but you still crushed it in high school. And that 20 year reunion is coming up.
