How Much Did Hurricane Nicole Cause in Damages?
Nicole didn’t get a huge amount of coverage, but it did rack up about $522 million in damages, far exceeding the clean up costs of Hurricane Ian. Volusia county, home of Daytona Beach was the hardest hit with severe beach erosion, collapsed houses and damaged buildings.
The weird thing is you could have bought the whole region for half that before the storm.
Possible Historic Snow Storm Heading for Buffalo

It’s going to bury Buffalo just like their dreams of a super bowl.
Ben Shapiro Says Republicans Who Voted for Gay Marriage Should GTFO
This week the Senate will vote on a bill that will legalize same sex marriage by law to codify the Supreme Court decision that previously declared the right. But Shapiro is hoping to dissuade some Republicans from voting for the bill. “Now, lemme just put this out there for the Republican senators. If you vote in favor of the idea that society has an obligation to recognize male-male or female-female dyads, in the same way that society has an obligation to recognize male, female, you should not be in the Republican party,” he said. “The reason I say this is not because I wish to shrink the size of the Republican party — because if the fundamental basis of human society is male, female child and you think that by passing a law you can change to that reality, you do not belong in government. It’s a very simple proposition,” he argued.
I guess when you’re a real hetro like Ben Shapiro, gay lifestyle seems so far away and hard to understand.
Rick Scott Coming To Take Down Head Vampire Mitch McConnell
Trump ally Rick Scott wants to be the new top republican in the senate but before he can do that he’s going to have to push out McConnell. McConnell, unworried, said “I have the votes. I will be elected.”
Sounds like Rick’s bringing a kitten to a gunfight.

Chappelle Did a Fake Monologue at SNL Rehearsal
Page Six revealed that at dress rehearsal Dave Chappelle performed a different monologue than he did live. Whether it was a decoy monologue so Lorne Michaels and the NBC brass wouldn’t know what he was going to talk about live, or he just switched it because he didn’t like how the first one went, is unclear, but so far neither SNL or NBC have addressed the controversy that arose Saturday night.
And Elvis Costello got a lifetime ban for changing a song.
