Warner Brothers Charges Bootlegger $20 Bucks For Downloading Friends Episodes

Warner Bros. is sending out notices to people who’ve illegally downloaded episodes of Friends, asking for $20 bucks to make them go away. This is the language they used:
“The damage to WB from your conduct substantially exceeds $20, but in the interest of having you stop your infringement of WB content permanently, WB is prepared to make you this settlement offer.”
Never has piracy threats been more polite or sounded like such a scam.
