Scientists have concluded that artificial light of any kind before bed inhibits the body’s ability to fall asleep. Professor Foster said that “Often people will turn their lights down at night which helps to get the body ready for sleep, but then they will go and brush their teeth and turn their bathroom light on”. So how do you avoid this? Brush your teeth with your lights off. They’re also recommending taking a crap by candlelight.
