Venezuelan brewers are running out of barley, malt and all the other beer making products they need to import. The government has strict currency controls and it’s making it almost impossible for these breweries to buy more. The country’s beer supply will fall by 80% if nothing is done. One thing you could say for Chavez; he always had beer.
