The University of Maryland Offers White Students Their Own “Safe Space”

Posters started popping up around the University of Maryland offering a “safe space for White students to explore their experiences, questions, reactions, and feelings.”Students aren’t happy about the program, it’s titled “White Awake” and has been getting slammed online as well. Normally the only safe space for white students at college is just the entire campus.

I am ashamed over the execution of white awake nor do I fully understand its clause. “How they can fit into a diverse world”?
