UK Police Tweet Out Surveillance Photo of British Comic For a Laugh
Inappropriate invasion of privacy isn’t just for the US anymore. A National Police Air Service team in London thought they were being cute this week when they tweeted out a photo of British comedian Michael McIntyre, that was taken via Surveillance Camera with the caption ““Whilst on tasking [sic] in central London this morning we spotted a certain energetic funny man … Can you guess who?”
Londonites were a lot less interested in guessing who, and a lot more interested in the inappropriateness of the use of a surveillance helicopter and violation of privacy issues.
McIntyre had reportedly been worried about that helicopter all day, but had to get home in time to check on the sauce.
