Tyler Perry Publicly Offers to Give Geoffrey Owens an Upgrade from Trader Joe’s

Tyler Perry has offered Geoffery Owens, the actor from the Cosby Show who was job-shamed for working at Trader Joe’s, a spot on his Oprah Winfrey Network Drama “The Haves and Have Nots“. Unfortunately, he did it on Twitter which looks a little more like some good PR for Tyler Perry than a job offer. Owens said he does not want handouts from the exposure though, but would not mind auditions. What he’s really holding out for is an offer from Wegmans.
