After 187 Years, Thomas Jefferson Statue Leaves NYC's City Hall

The Thomas Jefferson statue that’s been in New York City’s City Hall for 187 years has been removed and been given to the New York Historical Society on a long term loan. The vote to remove the statue was a private one and there was even an attempt to not have any pictures taken of its removal. We did it guys, we finally got him. Fuck you Jefferson. New Yorkers will now have to find $2 dollar bills to remember what he looked like.

After a two year legal battle, an arbitrator has determined that Kevin Spacey breached his contract with his production company. His behind the scenes sexual misconduct was a breach of his agreement and caused the production company to rewrite and shorten the upcoming season. Spacey had argued it was the company’s decision to fire him that caused the losses, not his conduct.
