Top 5 Uncensored Comedy Underground Moments

If you watched the first season of “Comedy Underground with Dave Attell” you got a taste of live, raw, uncensored comedy in your living room. But if you think that’s as uncensored as comedy gets, you should check out the live Comedy Underground shows Attell has been putting on at The Village Underground during hiatus. Here are four great moments from the last two, that are definitely not ready for prime time.
Lynne Koplitz Gets Motorboated. It was all for Ardie! The June edition of Comedy Underground Live featured a raffle to benefit Ardie Fuqua’s family and medical bills. Lynne forgot to bring merch to donate, so she donated her excellent rack to a lucky young woman.
Jim Norton Talks “Dirty”. Another lucky audience member got one minute of personalized dirty talk from Jim Norton. Seizing the opportunity to make it as funny as possible, Jim went “girl dirty” by whispering supportive statements like “I can’t wait to just sit and listen about everything you did today” to the giggling gal.
Ray Romano Gives Away A Vegas Meet and Greet. A very shaggy, unshaven Ray Romano took the stage and bantered with Attell, joking that he grew the beard out to play the role of a retired TV actor who just doesn’t care anymore. He did a short set, including taking audience requests for older gems, then raffled off a Vegas meet and greet!
Christine Evans’ Birthday. Coproducer Christine Evan’s birthday fell the day before the July installment, and Attell surprised her with a cake and all the comedians on the show came out onstage to sing Happy Birthday.
Pop-ins. Dave’s show has featured some of the hottest pop-ins in the city – Norton, Romano, Artie Lange, Gilbert Gottfried and Judd Apatow have all wandered down and hopped onstage for Dave.
The next Comedy Underground Live is Tuesday, August 26, featuring Gary Gulman, Sam Morrill, Keith Robinson, Marina Franklin and a lot more uncensored surprises.
