Times Square Mascot Raid Nabs Spider-Man, Elmo And 2 Iron Men

Four Times Square “characters” were arrested in Times Square this weekend, and by that we mean Two Iron Men, a Spider-Man and an Elmo got busted. Charges included disorderly conduct and “aggressive panhandling.” The characters have been under increased scrutiny this weekend after public pressure has been mounting against aggressive behavior by the characters that include grabbing tourists, and blocking pedestrians. Later, the Flash was let go with just a warning for speeding.
