This week Disney revealed that they will be keeping up to 70 percent of box office revenues for the upcoming Star Wars film, The Last Jedi, (quite a bit higher than the 50/50 split that studios and theaters have taken since pretty much the inception of film), and there are some very strict rules about how the film is marketed and exhibited. If you don’t like the rules, you don’t get the movie.
You want the new Star Wars movie, bitch? Then you are gonna play it Walt’s way or we will hand you your popcorn and candy ass.
