The First Ever Comedy Special on a Bus Premieres Friday

Most comedians will tell you that the first step to success onstage is a room that is setup correctly. I’ve even written articles about the importance of making the performer the focal point of the room. Any quick google search will tell you that comedy performed outside is often considered “comedy suicide”. In a few days you get to throw all of those preconceived notions out the window and tune into the first guerilla style stand up comedy show.
Filmed on the streets of Hollywood, CA, “Crash Test” is hosted by Ron Huebel and Paul Scheer (fresh off of their run on The League) and features an all-star cast of comedians including Rob Corddry, Natasha Leggero, Aziz Ansari, Jack McBrayer, Aubrey Plaza, Ben Garant, Thomas Lennon, Ian Karmel, and musical guest Earl Sweatshirt. This unique vehicle offers stand-up on the street, curbside stops outside celebrity homes, a stop at Hollywood and Highland and an unsanctioned tour of the Paramount backlot.
Leading up to the on-air premiere, Comedy Central Stand-Up will feature preview clips from the special. Fans can follow Huebel and Scheer on Twitter at @robhuebel and @paulscheer, and tweet using the hashtag #CrashTest to join the social chatter around the special.
“Crash Test: With Rob Huebel and Paul Scheer” will be available on January 23 on the Comedy Central App to fans that sign in via their cable or satellite provider. The Comedy Central App is available for iPad and iPhone on the App Store, Android on Google Play, Roku, Xbox One and Chromecast.
“Crash Test: With Rob Huebel and Paul Scheer,” premieres on Friday, January 22 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central.
