The Average American Lives 18 Miles From Their Mother

Researchers have compiled a map that shows how far the average person lives from their mother based on each region. The South is the most tight-knit region of the country, followed by the North East. The national average would be closer, but no one’s mother wants to move to Brooklyn so they can make it as a stand-up comedian.
