Texas Mayor Gave Grim Advice Before Hurricane Harvey Hit
In a radio interview before the storm hit, Mayor Patrick Rios of Rockport, Texas had a piece of advice for any residents who were refusing to evacuate. He told them to be sure to have a Sharpie on hand so they could write their name and Social Security number on their arm, so their dead bodies could be identified easier. While the statement was pretty morbid, the good news is that those residents can write the information in very small letters. Because once their corpses are bloated from the flood waters, it’ll be large enough to read.
